Never Never Never Take your Medication with Fruit Juice

There was report that a police officer in US died of suffocation by his vomit after taking his medication with wine.

Apart from not drinking wine during medication, beware that to consume fruit juice, milk and tea with medicines can be really dangerous.

The reason is that the drinks will have toxin effects, and thus reduce the effectiveness of medications.

This can be a life-threatening matter, careful!

1) Grapefruit Juice

Grapefruit juice and orange juice can be hazardous to health with medication. US pharmacy research shows that the yellow pigment in grapefruit juice will increase the pharmacological drug effect by 4 times. It will be lethal if the medications of heart disease, sleeping pills and anti-allergy are to be served with these juices.

The reason is that the chemical substances in grapefruit juice will remain in the body to strengthen the power of the medications, so that the increased toxicity will appear and threaten the health.

2) Orange Juice

As for orange juice, it contains the same yellow pigment but with less amount. However the risk is still not to be ignored.

The toxicity reaction is particularly strong if lower blood pressure drug is to serve with orange juice. It is because our body potassium level will be exceedingly high then, and it will exert too much pressure and overload the burden of heart.
